Come see it for yourself

130 Seeley Rd,
Syracuse NY.

A saltwater shop run by people who actually keep reefs. Three rooms, no pretense, and the kind of stock you'd fly to see at a frag swap — except it's right off Erie Blvd.

Three rooms, one shop

Take the tour before you get here.

The shop is laid out as three connected rooms — livestock up front, the frag & display room on one side, dry goods and planted tanks on the other. Here's what each one looks like in real life.

Room 1

The coral room

Mixed-reef display tank on the left, stacked frag systems with mounted lighting in the center, blue-lit showcase tanks on the right. Every piece above the sand is WYSIWYG — the one in the photo is the one you're taking home.

  • Hundreds of WYSIWYG frags — LPS, Zoas & Palys, SPS, softies, mushrooms
  • House-grown macroalgae — some of the rarest in the hobby
  • Live video shopping — can't make it in? Book a call and we'll walk you through it over video

Room 2

The fish room

Two rows of numbered holding tanks (1 through 6 — look for the hand-painted tank numbers) plus a pothos vine that's slowly trying to eat the ceiling. This is where every saltwater fish we sell lives through its quarantine and feeding routine before it hits the floor.

  • Every fish is eating before it's listed — we feed what we sell
  • Hand-written stock lists on the wall clipboards — we check them when you ask
  • Quarantine protocol — so you don't get a midnight phone call you didn't want

Room 3

The dry goods + planted side

Freshwater planted display running the left wall, Aquaforest test kits and salt on the back shelves, a wall of driftwood and rock cubbies, an apparel rack, and the legendary little frozen-food fridge with the hand-written price list taped to the door.

  • Test kits, salt, additives, food — the stuff you actually need, not a mega-store wall of products
  • Frozen food fridge — mysis, brine, LRS, prime reef. Prices on the door in Sharpie.
  • Planted tank display — yes, the shop runs freshwater too

Call to book
Good to know

The stuff people usually ask.

Bag service & O2

Every livestock purchase leaves the shop bagged with pure oxygen, double-bagged, and boxed with a heat or cold pack depending on the drive home. Drive over 90 minutes? Tell us at checkout and we'll pack accordingly.

Livestock guarantee

Every fish eats in front of us before it goes home. If something arrives dead on arrival, bring a water sample and a photo within 24 hours and we'll make it right. Beyond that, a properly acclimated, properly parametered tank is on you — but we'll always help you troubleshoot.

Holds & deposits

We'll hold any frag or fish for 48 hours with a deposit. Longer than that, we need to list it again — other customers deserve a shot at it too.

Parking & accessibility

Free lot right out front. Single step into the shop, but the aisles are wide enough for a wheelchair or a stroller. Public bathroom if you need one.

Water testing

Bring us a sample in a clean container and we'll test alk, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, and phosphate for free while you shop. Takes about 10 minutes. Salifert + Hanna checkers.

Dumb questions welcome

Nobody starts with a reef tank. If you've never kept saltwater before, tell us — we'll show you around, explain what's hard about it, and probably talk you out of a few bad ideas. Zero judgment, coffee's usually on.
